The Archives maintains a reading room with several hundred books and binders related to the history of Clay County. They are available for reading at the Archives at no charge. The collection is wide but includes biographies, diaries, histories of war, church histories, family histories, African American history, and copies of rare materials from other archives and libraries
They do not circulate. Catalog of Books in the Reading Room.
We also have an extensive bibliography of books related to Florida history, especially during colonial times. We would be pleased to help you locate some secondary source material in other libraries that may be useful to your research.
